It is with a new outlook and spirit we eagerly look forward to 2013. With the economy improving, we are again experiencing many sold-out departures. The political climate is improving as well, and tourism is rebounding strong in Egypt. With Nobel Peace Prize winner Aung San Suu Kyi’s release from house arrest, our Myanmar trip promises to be of interest to many.

Cuba was a big hit with our travelers in 2012; more than 200 travelers ventured to Cuba on our customized itinerary, more travelers than any other University in the U.S. With our people to people license with the Treasury Department now renewed and valid until July 31, 2013, we are pleased to repeat this popular destination in 2013.

UCLA Alumni Travel offers the companionship of fellow alumni, people who share an intellectual curiosity and sense of fun and adventure. UCLA professors accompany many of our tours to share their expertise on topics ranging from environment and ecology to archeology and ancient history.
