Our 15-day tour begins in Lima with a visit to MALI, Lima’s fine arts museum, and a city tour. Spend two nights in the magnificent Sacred Valley touring important Inca sites and indigenous villages. Travel by train to Machu Picchu, the stunning “Lost City of the Incas,” staying overnight at the deluxe on-site Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge. Return to historic Cuzco to explore this archaeological hub of the Americas, and enjoy lunch in the home of a gracious Cuzco family. Fly via Quito to the Galapagos Islands, where you’ll enjoy a four-night stay on Santa Cruz Island combined with daily cruises to nearby islands. Learn about Darwin’s “living laboratory” up close as you observe the giant Galapagos tortoises, Blue-footed Boobies, sea lions, iguanas, and abundant birdlife during your ship-based and land-based excursions.
