Day 1 | July 3.
Depart for Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Day 2 | July 4. Amsterdam
Upon arrival, transfer to the pier and embark the MS Amadeus Silver III.
Excursion: Canals of Amsterdam. Glide through the canals of Amsterdam this evening to see historic highlights, including the Anne Frank House.

Day 3 | July 5. Amterdam
Choose from three excursions:
Excursion: Amsterdam. See the Royal Palace, Mint Tower and the Portuguese Synagogue. Visit the Rijksmuseum, showcasing treasures by Rembrandt, Frans Hals and Vermeer.
Excursion: Canal District Walking Tour. Discover the Herengracht canal district and its interactive museum.
Excursion: Waterland Bike Ride. Bicycle through historic villages. Enjoy a Welcome Reception and Dinner.

Day 4 | July 6. Cologne
Excursion: Cologne. Explore the Old Town and Gothic cathedral. Afterward, explore on your own.

Day 5 | July 7. Rhine Gorge/Oberwesel
Sail through the Rhine Gorge, where castles overlook the river. Pass the Loreley Rock and learn about the fabled siren that lured sailors to disaster.
Choose from two excursions:
Excursion: Wines of the Rhine. Visit a local winery, and enjoy a sampling of the region’s fine wines.
Excursion: Walking Tour of Oberwesel. Explore ancient defensive fortifications, and see the half-timbered houses and charming shops.

Day 6 | July 8. Speyer
Choose from three excursions:
Excursion: Speyer Walking Tour. See the Romanesque Cathedral and the the 13th-century Old Gate, or Altportel.
Excursion: Heidelberg Castle and Town. Enjoy views of this university town, its castle and the Neckar River.
Excursion: Heidelberg “Hike” on Philosopher’s Way. Gather for a hike from Heidelberg’s center to the Karl-Theodor Bridge spanning the Neckar River, and on Philosopher’s Way for magnificent views of Heidelberg Castle and the Old Town.

Day 7 | July 9. Strasbourg
Choose from three excursions:
Excursion: Strasbourg. See the highlights, including Notre Dame Cathedral, Palais Rohan and St. Thomas Church before a walking tour.
Excursion: Petite France. Discover the 16th- and 17th-century heritage of Petite France during a canal cruise and walking tour.
Excursion: Culinary Strasbourg. Discover the winstubs, the local wine pubs, and Strasbourg’s cuisine. Along the way, sample typical food and wine.

Day 8 | July 10. Breisach/Basel
Choose from three excursions:
Excursion: Riquewihr and the Wines of the Alsace. Visit and take a walking tour of this charming French town. Enjoy a wine tasting.
Excursion: Breisach and Freiburg. In Breisach, see one of the largest wine cellars in Europe. Explore the Augustinerplatz in Freiburg, and visit the city’s historic Gothic cathedral.
Excursion: Black Forest Adventure. Visit the Black Forest, famous for fairy tales and fables. Explore Lake Titisee or take a swim. Join a Farewell Reception and Dinner.

Day 9 | July 11. In Transit
Disembark the ship in Basel.
Transfer to the Zürich airport for the return to your gateway city.

Specially built for cruising Europe’s rivers, this elegant vessel is the sister ship to the awardwinning Silver and Silver II of the Lüftner Cruises fleet. Designed in a contemporary style, the elegance of its public rooms is carried through into passenger cabins and suites. Bars and lounges have large windows that offer remarkable panoramic views. The elegant Panorama Restaurant serves three meals each day that frequently feature local specialties. Local wines are included with lunch and dinner daily. Relax on the Sun Deck that offers lounge chairs and delightful open space. In the evening, return to your cabin or suite, which has satellite TV and a bathroom with a shower. In some cabins, connecting doors will be available. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available, but access may be limited.
