After an interpretive presentation, we continue to the Serengeti, Tanzania’s premier game park, experiencing its vastness and beauty for the first time. Home to the greatest concentration of large mammals on Earth, migratory herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle roam widely in search of green grass and water. Morning and afternoon drives each day bring us to optimal viewing points to see what nature reveals.

While in Serengeti National Park, an optional hot air balloon safari is available to view wildlife as you float over the Serengeti. Afterward, enjoy a champagne breakfast and a game drive before rejoining the group. (Note: This excursion must be purchased in advance to guarantee availability and is non-refundable.)

On the banks of Lake Victoria is a fishing village where you are introduced to the local way of life, visit a school, and participate in a guided walk.
